Connect online payments

Important to know:
You need to make sure in advance that your business is eligible for Stripe's terms of use, and that your type of business is allowed:
https://stripe.com/restricted-businesses

You can connect Stripe a online payment gateway by clicking on the "Modules" tab.

After switching to the "Modules" tab, you can enable Stripe payments by clicking the "Activate" on the module card.

  • If you do not have an account - create new one.

  • If you already have a Stripe account, use an existing one or log in by filling the requirements when creating a new business.

When creating a new business, Stripe will ask you to provide a link to your website - provide a link to your 2can Shop (you can copy it in the "Online Shop" tab, if you have already published a shop).

After successfully filling out all the forms and signing up in Stripe, you will return to the "Modules" page and see that the "Activate" button has been replaced with "Delete".
This means Stripe has been successfully activated!

Before the final steps of activating Stripe, you need to make sure that your account can accept payments.

You can do this by logging into your Stripe Dashboard: https://dashboard.stripe.com/dashboard.
There should not be any notifications:

If everything works and your account can make charges, then:

  1. Go to the "Online Store" tab in 2can Shop dashboard

  2. Then click the "Settings" button in the top menu

  3. Click on the "Payment methods" sub-tab
